Description
The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMA1 is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMA1 also is populated with 1 reset toggle switch and 1 red indicator LED. The board is also populated with multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and 10 jumpers.
The GE Universal Memory Board DS3800HUMA1 is populated with multiple memory modules. The modules are divided into 4 sections and each section is called a quad. There are 4 quads. The quads are Quad A, Quad B, Quad C, and Quad D. The quad represent a logical division of the modules.
Quad A and Quad C are also populated with 4 jumpers on each Quad. 2 other jumpers are also located on the board. They enable the installer to configure the operation of the board. When the board is assembled, the jumpers are set for the default positions. This is the most common position and if the configuration is suitable, no further configuration is required. The jumpers can be moved from the default positions, if necessary.
The jumpers are made up of 3 pins on the board. The jumper covers either pins 1 and 2 or pins 2 and 3. The jumper is inserted over 2 of the pins. To change the configuration, position the jumper over the other pins. The jumper slides off the pins in the original position and you can easily slide the jumper to cover the new pins.

Please ask about our exchange credit program if you have a defective board to exchange with the purchase of a new or reconditioned replacement. We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
