Description

The DS3800HSCX1 is a part of the Mark IV series of turbine automation and controls. The DS3800HSCX1 circuit board was created by General Electric (GE). The Mark IV series is capable of managing the operation and safety regulation of turbines.

The board features over 200 striped, multicolored resistors. Running vertically along the left edge of the board is a connector port. Centered on the right edge of the board is a small connector port. With these connector ports, additional components can be connected to the printed board if needed. Sixteen integrated circuits can be found on the right half of the printed board. Several kind of components, such as resistors, diodes and capacitors are located on each integrated circuit. On the left end of the printed board is a group of small yellow capacitors. A group of small blue capacitors is lined up next to the yellow capacitors. A group of transistors is lined up vertically in the center of the board alternated with small resistors adjacent to the blue capacitors. A group of blue capacitors is lined up beside the transistors. Between the capacitors and a different group of resistors lies a group of alternating resistors and diodes. Arranged on the right half of the board is a group of additional transistors for a total of forty-eight (48) transistors. Over thirty (30) diodes and sixty (60) capacitors are featured on the board.
