The DS3800HPIB1 is manufactured by General Electric (GE) for there Mark IV Speedtronic series. Th DS3800HPIB1 has twelve screw ports. The DS3800HPIB1 has six male ports covered in black plastic. There are also three male ports with a white clip like cover. There is a small switch near the white clip ports. The DS3800HPIB1 has thirty-six red LED indicator lights. Each light is raised of the board with a black cylinder. The DS3800HPIB1 has eight yellow bar capacitors. The DS3800HPIB1 has fifty-one light blue diodes. The board also has seventeen glass like diodes that are a light red color. There are seven metal diodes as well. The DS3800HPIB1 also has fifty-three resistors. The resistors can only handle a certain number of Ohms. That is indicated by their markings. There are also six black semi-circles. The DS3800HPIB1 has twelve EEPROM which cannot be reprogrammed but holds data and programming. The DS3800HPIB1 also has thirty-four EPROM which holds data and programming and can be updated. The board has the numbers one through eight along one side. Alonganother side are the letters A through H and the letter J. There are also eight red towers on the DS3800HPIB1. This board has many parts. Every part is clearly labeled with an alphanumeric code and its size is outlined as well. The manufactures symbol (GE) is printed as well as the part number DS3800HPIB1.
