Description
General Electric created the DS3800HIMB printed circuit board as a component of their Speedtronic (Mark IV) series. The Speedtronic system is designed to be used for gas and steam turbine control and has been created with intentional redundancies built into integrated chipsets. This allows control and communications to shift to still-running boards if one pcb ever has an issue, giving the user time to diagnose and repair the issue without downtime.
The DS3800HIMB has the following specs:

Factory-drilled in bottom corners of the board

Marked '6BA01' and '6DA00' along the edge of the board

Has one large capacitor made by Bicron, marked 218A4819

Has an amber LED positioned on one long edge. The board has only one LED.

Has one long Amd connector. This is a female connector, and it is positioned on the long side of the board.

Has three transistors. Two of these are smaller, located together. The other is a larger Motorola transistor. This transistor is TTL/DTL compatible.

Has been built with multiple ceramic resistors. Has multiple small diodes which may or may not be marked as such.
Manuals and data sheets for the DS3800HIMB were originally published by General Electric, who provided all technical support for this and other Mark IV products. We recommend following the manufacturer's guidelines when installing this and all other Mark IV equipment. Please follow all safety guidelines.

Exchange
We conveniently offer an exchange program that allows you to recycle your old board and receive an up-front discount on a replacement. Please ask about our exchange credit program if you have a defective board to exchange with the purchase of a new or reconditioned replacement. We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
