Description
The GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HCIB features a modular connector for attachment to a drive and retention levers to hold the board in the drive. The GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HCIB also is populated with 1 jumper, and 1 amber indicator LED. The board also has 1 20-pin connector, 1 50-pin connector, and multiple capacitors.
The indicator LED on the GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HCIB is located between the levers that secure the board in the interior of the rack. It it visible to the operator while the drive is in operation. The LED is amber in color when lit. The LED flashes to indicate that processing is taking place and that the board is functioning as designed. When the LED is not flashing, it indicates that a problem exists because normal processing has stopped. If that is the case there are some troubleshooting steps you can take to find the source of the problem.
The first steps is to run the diagnostic tools from the control panel. There is a menu that displays on the control panel that you can navigate using the keys on the keypad. Use the up and down arrow keys to find and select the diagnostic selection. The results of the diagnostics can display on the 2-line display on the control panel. However, it is best practice to download the results to a laptop or other device. You can view more of the results and save the results for comparison. Use a serial cable connected to the drive and the laptop to perform the download.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
