Description
The GE Circuit Board DS3800HACA1 features multiple pins that are connected through fine wires wrapped around the pins. The GE Circuit Board DS3800HACA1 also is populated with a modular connector for attachment to a drive and retention levers to hold the board in the drive.
The GE Circuit Board DS3800HACA1 is installed in a drive that can only be serviced by a qualified servicer because of the hazards presented by the drive. The drive operates using high-voltage electricity that can cause injury due to the risk of electric shock and burn. The servicer must be aware of the risks and understand how to prevent any problems. The drive is supplied with multiple sources of electricity and the servicer must remove all power.
The servicer must consult with site engineers and installers who know how the drive was installed and how power is supplied to the drive. If an inverter is used to convert ac power to dc, the device can be disabled by removing the fuses to shut off the power to the drive. If ac power is supplied to the drive, the servicer can pull a circuit breaker to remove power.
Before starting the installation, the servicer must locate all emergency power shut off devices and ensure they are in good working order. It is best practice to never service a drive alone. It is always best to have two servicers perform any work. If an emergency occurs, one servicer can call for help, pull the emergency shut off device, or in other ways assist the servicer.

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
